Well great start with Landry causing the fumble and getting the ball at the GB 21, but 2 bad running plays and then McNabb not handling the snap results in no points. Awful. Then Jackson rips off a 71 yard run.:angryfire:

There is NO excuse for that 3 down offensive sequence after the defense created such a momentum shifting takeaway. NONE!:cussing:

Just said the same thing out loud and came here to vent about it. Everything is going right for the Skins to pull an upset today, and Donovan is doing everything he can to undo it.

I don't know, we've been dominated all game, I think it's already out of hand. The score is misleading. McNugget isn't looking so hot today, the defense looks sad, and the OL isn't having their best day. Basically they are the team we thought they were, we all know we should have no shot of beating GB.

I've been saying for weeks they need to throw to him more. And I don't mean the ones 15 yards overthrown or 5 yards out of bounds.

Got lucky that Mason missed that FG.

Orakpo coming up big after Rodgers broke up the previous play.

Stupid block in the back there. But now McNabb to Moss gets most of that back. Lets see if they can pull this one out.

GREAT game by the DEFENSE!!!

I don't care how many guys got hurt for GB, 13 points with two OT possessions, fantastic!

Big win with the Giants also winning. C'mon SF and Tennessee.

Another gutty win. I am still bothered by the lack of ability to run and the inconsistency overall. I really don't know what to expect from this team. Losing to STL, who got blown out by Detroit today, and then beating Green Bay... In theory, one of those just shouldn't have happened. I hope it was the STL loss.

Hey, I said SHOULD.

And really, are you going to argue we weren't getting dominated at half time? I was shocked when I saw McNugget's stats, I don't know how he put up 350+ yards, he over and underthrew so many balls all day.

Meh, end of the day, glad they won.

No, what I was referring to then and now is that you said the game was already out of hand, and yes, I will argue that.

McNabb was pretty good in the second half and the receivers had some nice plays.

At the time it was completely out of hand. We weren't completely out of the game, but they were just crushing us. Semantics, I know, but it's what I meant. I would never call a 10 point game out of reach.

My boy Armstrong came through big in the 2nd half. It was like a sad predictable game in the 2nd though, either a bad run play, or Mcnabb misses two throws, then some HUGE 3rd down play or penalty keeps the game alive. Very timely stuff, but man, I can't take these every play could end the game kinda games.

Apparently you think completely out of hand means something a lot different than what I think it does. And it was only a 7 point game then. But fair enough.

I can't believe you guys lost to the Rams. Playoffs are not out of the question, imo. You need someone who can run the football to really have a legit shot, but you guys are finding ways to win. Must be fun right now.

Yes, sir! And they are getting hurt because we are bringing the pain. We have hurt at least one key player from every team we have played. LaRon is the best 'ambassador' the skins have had in a long time. If you catch the ball, he'll be the first one to say hello!

Bring on the Colts!

They obviously played down to them and got SMOKED. When I looked at the schedule during preseason I thought they could get in the hunt by splitting the NFC North games, the AFC South games, the division, and then winning the matchups with St Louis and Tampa. That would have them at 9-7. Blowing the St L game really hurts. Now they'll have to go over .500 in the division, IMO. They're 2-0, winning one at home and one on the road. It is fun because the season looked like it was going down the drain two weeks ago and now the fought back and won two games that I chalked up to losses prior to the season. If they can win 1 out of the next 3 (Indy, @Chicago, @Detroit) and be 4-4 at the break, I think they'll have a good shot.

Well nothing has really changed their ability to do that. I would have expected them to beat the Rams and lose to the Packers, but now it's the other way around.

They have a decent shot at 9-7, but I still am not very impressed and can see them only winning 6 or 7 games.

I meant we were being dominated on both sides at the time, we went 3 and out like 5 straight possessions, and they marched all the way down the field on us on 3 straight, but some good luck, key penalties, and that big goal line stand kept the score tight.

We must be watching different games. The skins are a team that manages to hang around until the end of every game. We have a QB that knows what needs to be done to win. These attributes can lead to a lot of wins. We hit hard and set the tone every game. The hiccups are merely growing pains. We were 4-12 last season, after all. I'd be shocked with a 6 win season. Surprised with a 7. 8 sounds about right. Anything more than that is gravy.

What I was referring to is splitting against the divisions. In other words, go 2-2 against Green Bay, Minny, Chicago, and Detroit. And go 2-2 against Tenn, Indy, Houston, and Jax. Then win your odd games: St L and Tampa.

Beating GB is big. The other 3 games against that division are going to be tough.

Yeah, my bad, I was thinking of the Rams being in the North for some reason. But still, the win against GB wasn't expected, nor was the one in PHI, so we aren't below what I would have expected in terms of a win total.

Saying they can only win 6 or 7 games is not predicting that. 8 seems about right too, so we aren't far off here.

They have not looked that good though to date. The defense has been inconsistent and has given up less points than you'd expect based on the yards allowed, the running game has been bad other than last week, the O-line has had issues, and McNabb has been mediocre other than the Houston game where he played great other than missing a couple wide open guys deep and failing to seal the deal late in the game.
