Some of you had to have watched last night. I know a lot of people think Lesnar is exposed now and I agree to a point. Yeah, he has little chance of winning a fight where he cant tackle a guy and ground and pound. The thing is, I still think he'd be able to go in and over power and beat most of the heavyweights in the world. This fight was more about how the greatness of Velasquez. I see him dominating that division for a very long time.

I'll admit I was a bit shocked to see Brock dominated the way he was. It should be pretty obvious by now that he doesn't like being hit.... Carwin was beating him before he tired himself out. I just thought he had too much of a size advantage on Velasquez to lose, but Cain's wrestling was good enough to avoid spending any time on his back and was able to continue his striking. Great fight.

I try to catch as many PPVs as I can and I'm glad I bought last nights. Cain Velasquez is legit. I don't see anybody beating him anytime soon. Maybe Shane Carwin as long as it doesn't get out of the first round.

Jake Shields wasn't very impressive.. The drop down to welterweight definitely took its toll. GSP will dominate him after he beats Koscheck.

Diego Sanchez was impressive after losing two in a row. Tito Ortiz is finished and I was also impressed with Brendan Schaub, looks like hes gonna be the best from the TUF heavyweight crop.

The Velasquez/ Dos Santos fight should be a good one....

Should have kept Shields at middleweight.... don't know the logic behind dropping him down to 170.

Yeah that'll be a good fight but I just don't see Dos Santos winning.

I guess they think a GSP/Shields match would be more inticing than an Anderson Silva/Shields fight.

Dos Santos will have a chance. Still some questions about Cain's chin and Dos Santos is the best all round stand up guy at Heavyweight. That said, Cain is indead a beast. I'm relatively new to MMA, been watching for a couple of years now, but he's the most dominant fighter I've seen over that time. GSP being a close 2nd.

No doubt SHields was struggling with the weight drop last night but if he can get used to it before the next fight I think he's a guy that matches up well with GSP and could give him some trouble.

Lesnar came out trying to end it quickly and appeared to get winded immediately.

Looked to me that his game plan/training methods this time around were poor.

I think it was a good strategy. He knew he was the inferior technical fighter. He had a very slim chance of winning a long fight. He actually was successful with the takedowns early but couldn't keep Cain down. If Brock had been able to keep ahold of him on those takedowns and get his weight on top of him it's a totally different fight. The moment Cain popped right back up on Brock's last takedown was the moment the fight was over.

The training in general has to get better though. Brock is a one trick pony. If he doesn't improve his stand up and jiu jitsu he'll never be a great fighter.

Anyone see the post fight exchange between Lesnar and The Undertaker? Classic.

Same here, for about three years now. I'd put GSP first, Jose Aldo second, Velasquez, Anderson Silva, and then Jon Jones (although he hasn't faced any top class fighters). Lesnar can beat alot of guys with how he fights now, but the heavyweight class is too loaded at the moment for him to hold the belt for long. Guys like Velasquez, Carwin, and Dos Santos can beat him. Be interesting to see who he fights next.

Shields is just so boring to watch. Hes great at controlling guys on the ground but GSP is even better plus he can knock you out. I'd like to see Jake win one or two more before getting a title shot.

That was absolutely amazing. When 'Taker looks at him a foot away and asks "you wanna do it?" right there on television I thought it was about to go down.

Brock must be every bit the d-bag he comes off as.

So cool to see how big of a fan he is though, I knew he was to some degree when he brought in the triangle choke and a couple other moves a few years ago, but you could see his eyes light up when he asked if he would have jumped ship 20 years ago if he could have.

It seems to have been planned which is what I figured since Taker has always been known to be a well respected guy. If not though, Taker is the one who looks likes the big d-bag. You challenge a guy as he's walking out of the cage 5 minutes after he gets his ass kicked while doing an interview.

Seemed to me like they have some seriously personal beef and that offer hasn't been the first time it's been thrown out. Looked like a continuation of a previous encounter that I wish we could see. We couldn't see off camera what Brock did to elicit the reaction, but judging by the eye contact and reaction from Taker right before he ran his mouth Brock did something.

It's not like Taker ran down and issued the challenge while he was in the ring, and when asked he left things off the record and called it personal, I think if he was being a d-bag he would have aired all the laundry on television right there.
