Well this just makes no sense:p

I guess that's the kind of thing John Wall does to a person.

He pretty clearly needs to work on his rebounding.

Sent this e-mail to my buddies, rather than correct all the grammar I'll just put quotes around it ;-)

"i was thinking about this last night

its really a shame what is going on with arenas both on and off the floor

at this point he's a shell of his former self (and that's being nice) with an untradeable contract now that isaiah thomas is out of the league -- the wizards are basically in limbo because of it, they can't possibly make significant upgrades in talent until he's off the books

so basically they're gonna waste the first three years or so of wall's deal (they may be able to deal arenas in his last year as an insanely valuable expiring deal) because they won't be able to do much else personnel wise

my only hope is that they can give him a new deal after his rookie deal and keep him here approximately 7 years (like lebron, wade and bosh) and, in those last 3-4 years, give him some talent to work with

blatche is just too inconsistent and mcgee sucks im sorry"

:p

And cutting down the TOs sure would be nice...but still, a very, VERY impressive performance from Wall.

Saw this this morning:

There are now 2 players in NBA history with at least 70 points and 30 assists in their first 3 games: Oscar Robertson and John Wall.

:eektf:

He needs to limit that intro dance thing to about 10-15 seconds. It was getting uncomfortable as he was dancing past his teammates who were putting out their hands for a high five.

Other than that, he looks pretty darn special. Too bad Agent Zero has becuase Human Zero. Imagine him starting as the shooting guard next to Wall instead of Heinrich.

He looks awesome and all, but Cartier Martin was reason the headline was "John Wall goes for 29 points, 13 assists and 9 steals as Wizards win in OT" vs. "Wall turns the ball over 8 times, sloppy Wizards blow it in the 4th quarter"...

He definitely needs to take care of the ball more, but when you factor in the amount he's asked to handle the ball, it can sort of being expected right now. I think he needs to be more aggressive in the beginning of games, because once he starts attacking the basket, that's when he gets to the line or gets his teammates open looks. It seems like in the 1st and 2nd quarters he's very content with just sort of passing the ball around the perimeter until Blatche decides to do something fancy.

Turnovers aside, he gave an awesome performance. The team really blew it in the 4th quarter. McGee and Blatche are so frustrating to watch; one second they look great, the next they look completely uninterested in the game. The lack of fundamentals at times can be infuriating. The important thing is that they got the win.
