I have a Blackberry Bold 9700 from T-mobile. i dont like the blackberry and have an offer to trade for an unlocked iphone 3gs 16gb. Should I do it?

I don't know if this will help your decision, but I'll respond anyway. I'm a gadget guy and into technology in general. I'm a coder by trade so I'm up to date on most things. Having said all that, I could never see myself paying the money for an iPhone. I figured I'm wired enough with my laptops and cell phone and texting, etc. My wife was really wanting an iPhone so I got us both one. Then, about 6 months later she lost hers so instead of buying one at full price, I gave her mine and I went back to my old Treo. It felt like I was missing a limb. There is so much I do with my iPhone it's unbelievable. None of it is related to work unless I'm out of town. It has so many uses but none of them are indispensable, just really really convenient. So I can't say that I prefer it over a Blackberry because I've never had one, but I have the iPhone 3gs and I would hate to go without it. BTW be glad it's unlocked because IMO AT&T is awful.

What don't do you like about the BlackBerry? Have you tried using an iPhone? If so, do you like it? If not, use a friend's iPhone or try a newer version.
If you're unhappy with your current phone, you should try the iPhone to see if you like it.

Many, many friends have the iphone and it looked great.
I miss the games and little gadgets that the android market has versus the business side of the blackberry. Working for the Gov't I cant get my work emails on my personnel BB anyway. So for me, I want fun.
I made the trade last week for a Samsung Vibrant. My iphone friends are jealous right now because of T-Mobile's network. What a great trade for me.
