It's mind boggling to see him producing the way he does with a 4th line grinder as his RW.

Side note: Pens & Caps recent surges should make for some entertaining material once HBO's 24/7 starts in a few weeks.

Indeed. Sidney Crosby's immense talent proves God has a great sense of humor. Still, Sid and Ovie make for a great rivalry, so I guess I should be thankful.

Looks like HBO's 24/7 Penguins/Capitals premiers on 12/15/10 at 10 PM. I went to set my DVR for it, but it's not in the program yet. I will definitely be watching though. Here is a preview. (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/video/2010/12/02/VI2010120201899.html)

I love watching him play. I've been a Pens fan for years and years and it's finally fun again. I used to wear my Pens jersey to the minor league hockey games here and everyone would snicker at me. Now they just think I'm bandwagon

I wish Fleury lived up to the hype. When we first drafted him I shopped a picture of Jesus' head on his body and captioned it "Jesus Saves". I had that as my work desktop background forever.

As much as I choke saying it, I really respect Ovechkin's game. And even though I'm glad they lost (sorry Caps fans) this (http://voices.washingtonpost.com/dcsportsbog/2010/04/brooks_laich_changes_a_tire_af.html) was one of the best sports related stories I've read in years.

Fleury has started to live up to the hype during this hot streak. Small sample size, but he's looked solid. I no longer get that "It's only a matter of time until he gives up a soul-crushing soft goal" feeling any more.

I'm really hoping that he gets better with age. That's usually what happens as long as the talent's there in the first place.

My only concern is that he's a goaltender that relies on his athleticism/agility. Hopefully he can adapt once that begins to leave him. Thankfully, that's not something that Pittsburgh should have to worry about for years to come.

Damn Crosby got another 2 points last night. Granted the second was off a deflection but he was in the right place. Just an unbelievable talent. I really need to get the NHL package again. I used to have it when the Pens sucked and now I don't when they are immortal.
