I have an idea but need to know where to start.
I figure patent, non-disclosure agreements and manufacturing all need to be figured out.
I genuinely think this idea could sell, so I'm pretty serious about moving forward.
Any advice from posters here?

I love this kind of stuff, though I'm far from an expert. That said, maybe some dialogue about standard issues to consider will help you move forward successfully...
My first question is, what if anything have you already done with respect to your invention, or is it merely an idea right now?

The first thing you need to do is tell us your idea. :laughlol:

I have many, so that's true. Good memory. :)

I'd start with an extensive search of existing patents to answer a few questions.
1. Is it really new?
2. If it is new, what are some comparable patents?
3. Why is your invention better/different than the comparable patents?
