Since the NBA Thread was closed for some reason...

My final MVP picks, which I think will be a lot different than the writer picks:

James
Howard
Dirk
Wade
Rose
Kobe
Paul
Durant
Westbrook
Aldridge

Durant and Westbrook get my vote. Not that I'm an expert or anything, but I feel like if you removed those two from their teams they don't make the playoffs.

Well of course they don't make the playoffs without their best 2 players. The Heat would be a disaster without James and Wade and the vast majority of teams wouldn't make the playoffs without their best 2 players.

Kobe or Wade. The Heat are not a very good team when Wade is out even with James and Bosh on the floor. Kobe is still awesome and the best 4th quarter player in the league.

James
Rose
Dirk
Howard

looong way down to the rest..

Definitely good call on Aldridge though MWEB..I never thought he'd be this effective.

Like the SI said this week, why does everyone have to have a reason for why Rose isn't the MVP. I think there is a case for James and Howard over him but that is it.

Rose
James
Howard
Wade
Dirk

Oh, and even though I only have him 3rd for a few reasons the team that would miss one player the most is the Magic without Howard. I'm not sure they are a playoff team, even in the weak East, without him.

Because there are really good reasons imo.
