So what do you guys think??I'm assuming not happy, but it seems like Locker is a lock to go in the 1st round now and possibly top 20. I'm not sure you guys could trade back and still get him. That's the guy a lot of people seem to think Shannahan wants.
You're right that I wouldn't be happy. That's too early for him imo and I'd trade back and just see if he's there or be fine with picking someone at one of the many positions that they should want to upgrade.

We need to trade down with either NE or PH. Both have extra picks. Problem is, Dallas may beat us to it.

I like Wise's recent column. You need a qb to win, but that qb must be surrrounded by a lot more talent than the Skins have now. I said last year we need three drafts before we catch up talent wise in our division and this is draft number 2.
I'd like to see the Skins trade down into the 14-17 area. If there is a good defensive player who has slipped, then pick him up, otherwise, trade down another four to seven spots and see what's available.
If the Skins trade up or start using 2012 picks, this is going to be bad news, IMO.
I'd also like to get Quinn assuming he's there at #10. Him and Orakpo on opposite sides for the foreseeable future would be great imo. Kiper thinks he could have been the #1 pick if he wasn't ruled ineligible last season.
Oh and McShay actually has Peterson slipping to #11, so I'd strongly consider him if he's there since he's possibly the best player in the draft. I think him still being on the board at that point would really increase the trade value of that pick as well.

ESPN has Atlanta, NE, and another team I can't remember all considering trading into the top ten. I think our chances at a trade will depend on what happens in the first nine. If one or two of Peterson, Fairley, Jones, or Quinn are still on the board, I think we can trade. I would be all for trading to #27 with Atlanta... They pick Jones at #10 and we can take Dalton or Mallett at #27. Hopefully this would net us an additional second rounder since Atlanta is trading up 17 slots.

Who knew that Locker wouldn't be available at 10!?
