So I added the sportspack recently to my DirectTV package, so I could get MASN. I hoped to be able to see O's games on MASN, but they are all blacked out. I'm out of market (Atlanta), so I don't know if DirectTV is screwing me or if everyone gets blacked out unless you purchase MLB Extra Innings. Any help?

I'm no expert, but it shouldn't be blacked out in Atlanta.

I can watch everything else on MASN except O's games... it blacks out the channel during the game and when calling Customer NoService, they say that contractually they black out games on other channels unless you purchase MLB Extra Innings. That doesn't make sense to me because I can see games on TBS, FOX, WGN, and other basic cable channels without being blacked out. Any other out of market O's fans out there with DirectTV?

I'm pretty sure it's an MLB rule that causes the games to be blacked out outside of the O's designated viewing area - I think you need to buy the MLB package to see the O's games.

You will absolutely be blacked out if you are outside of MASN's contracted viewing area. If you don't live close to Baltimore you will have to get the MLB package for Dish or Direct TV or MLB TV to watch on your computer.
