Matusz likely to get one more rehab start; Roberts likely to 15 Day DL

Brian roberts consulting w concussion specialists. Doesn't appear close to baseball activities. Won't be activated from dl tues.

If a player isn't activated from the 7 day DL on the 7th day, they are automatically transferred to the 15 day DL.


Brian matusz getting closer but all signs point to him making one more rehab start. He'll throw a bullpen tuesday.

The only reason he should get another rehab start is to get his pitch count up but I would rather he be up here already.

What this indicates to me is that Matusz will take over for Bergy and since they are skipping Bergy in the rotation due to an off day, it gives them a chance to get Matusz another start in the minors since he didn't seem too happy with how he was throwing a few of his pitches (despite his success in the start at AA).

I have a bad feeling about Roberts. With Morneau last year it always seemed like he was just about to come back and just never did. And still wasn't ready for spring.
