View Full Version : Matt Bywater? Whatever happened to him?
Was he injured in ST. I don't remember. He certainly hasn't pitched anywhere yet that I know of and he was considered kind of advanced. At the least, I would have expected him in Delmarva's rotation by now.

He is in FL, well actually I think he is in California at this precise moment. He is assigned to FL.

Currently playing in Extended in Florida. I don't believe that was a major injury. I'm guessing he'll break camp with Aberdeen.

The only thing I was told about Bywater was that it was not an injury that kept him from making a full-season club. For a three-year college starter drafted in the 6th round not to make a full-season club in his 1st season means something didn't go very well in spring training. I'm supposed to get more info soon on him but I would expect him to start at Aberdeen. Either way, something is fishy here.

Matt told me today that he'll be starting his season in June, but that he's not sure yet where he'll begin. Could break with Aberdeen, could go straight to Delmarva. He'll find out in a week or so.
