Farewell Shaq daddy (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nba/245/shaquille-oneal). One of my favorites of this generation.

Shaq was a beast in the truest sense of the word. Have fun Shaq.

I always sided with Kobe in their feud other than the part where Kobe ratted Shaq out, but regardless I've always understood how great of a player Shaq was. He's a top 10 player ever, and the case can definitley be made for top 5.

Sad day for me. Thanks for the early 2000's Kazaam.

Never really cared about Shaq in the NBA, but his rap albums were actually pretty good. And he was great in Blue Chips. :D

I liked his attitude. It was always with a wink.

The Kobe song was awesome too.

It was a good time for him to retire but what a monster he was.

Great player and as good an entertainer as an athlete can be.

He will be missed but I am sure he will end up on TNT or ESPN.

If I could live vicariously through any athlete in his prime, I would choose Shaq. I'll miss the big Aristotle.
