Former Marlins hitting instructor John Mallee has been added to the Jays org as a senior advisor and roving hitting instructor.

Really like this move. Mallee is a forward thinking hitting instructor that has recently worked with a number of talented young bats that have found ML success, including Coughlan, LoMo, Stanton, Gaby, etc. He'll be asked to help shape the hitting philosophy taught throughout the system, and will have a hand in larger scale organization planning, as well.
