2011 GTP: Chris Jakubauskas

He pitched the 7th most inning for the Orioles in 2011. AAAA guy held his own at times but didn't have the stuff for consistency.

Showed some flashes, but just not quite good enough to want back. D

He gets a D. He did have some periods where he was effective, but he's the very definition of a replacement-level pitcher so far as I'm concerned.

I gave him a C. He's a dime a dozen type pitcher who came in and pitched well at times, not so well at other teams. That he had the seventh most innings pitched on the team is a testament in part to how bad the other pitches were, and the fact that he rarely was. He probably shouldn't have pitched that many innings, but he seemed to be ok. An average pitcher, as it relates to this staff at least, and probably many others.

It depends on whether you grade based on expectations or roles. I choose to grade based on role and gave a D, probably a D+.
