Just got home so it's not too lonely in here.
Brown got beat BAD on that one. Then he couldn't even make it 3 feet to the ball...ugh.

Nice break there, get a first down. Need to score.

I find it odd that the offense is essentially "if Hightower is in a single back set hes running..." and Carolina keeps giving up medium to big gains.

I was just saying the same thing. And they keep giving up defensive penalties left and right. Even with the refs missing a couple.
Aw, come one, where's the Beck can't get it done in the red zone comments. :D

Hey, I didn't start saying that about Rex until he had showed me in 4 games that it was a trend. (going back to last season) And even then I said I didn't know if it was him or the playcalling.
Beck absolutely blundered not seeing AA wide open on 3rd down.

I won't get into it with you again about this "trend." I was just joking anyway.
Anyway, the running game has been very good today, but the passing game, not so much. Of course, they haven't called many pass plays.
You've got to be kidding me! Awful!

For the LOVE OF GOD stop throwing the ball to Gaffney...and I said that before the fumble.
But yeah, they keep talking about how Beck looks so shaky but I have a hard time holding that against him when it's like a 80/20 run/pass ratio.

Well he hasn't looked good. He should have had a pass picked, fumbled, missed Anthony on the RZ play, and had some balls batted at the line.

Totally agree on the bad pass over the middle and missing AA. The batted balls though, they are going to happen, he's only like 6 foot and they run a ton of those WR screens and passes to the flat (where those batted balls keep coming).
Having Moss go out has killed our playcalling. It looks like they put AA in his spot in the lineup, and he doesn't know the plays. That sack right there he didn't know to go into motion, and then Beck was looking to him for the short completion for the first and he hadn't looked yet. Disaster...ugh.

That said, Beck is very likely not the answer at QB either. We'll get to see over the next few games though.
I fear Hightower may be out for the year though.

John Beck = TD machine.
He's on the same pace for rushing TDs per game as Newton.

Sadly, I don't think there's much of a question about it. That looked nasty.
So Cam Newton looks extremely impressive.

Yes he does. They went from worst team in the league to this with one good QB. I can't wait til we get one.

Hankerson?? Really? You finally get in on a play and run the wrong route? Not helping your case buddy.

The panthers kicker is pretty impressive.
Hope moss isn't out for a long time.

The unexpected happened today. Our defense was shredded. Beck did just ok. He's gotta do better if he's gonna stick, IMO. I'm back to thinking we may not be a .500 team this year.
Hightower is out for the year and Moss is out 5-7 weeks.

The injury bug is now biting hard. Things were pretty good in that depart until the bye. Now they've lost 5 starters on offense.
Next man up, as they say.

I think it's kind of a blessing in disguise honestly. None of us thought we were a playoff team before the season, so if we don't make it we won't be devastated, but I'm excited to see what some of these young kids can do.
I don't know why they are messing with the offense and I think it messed things up yesterday, they should have just slid Austin right into Moss' role in the offense and ran with it. Let everyone else do what they know. You could see AA mess up a couple plays, Hankerson had a miscommunication on his, and Gaffney didn't look too comfy in the slot.
Helu looks like a monster, and we know Torain can bring it. Let's see how many pieces we have to build with before next offseason.
