Wild game so far. Houston takes the opening kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown, Rice comes back with 17 unanswered points, Houston comes back with a touchdown, then a field goal for Rice, and then a field goal for Houston. 20-17 Rice, early in the second quarter.

After falling behind 17-7, Case Keenum goes wild almost as fast as you can blink.
4 touchdown passes plus a field goal, and he has his Cougars up 38-20 at halftime.

How's this for a QB's line:
Case Keenum: Compl/Att-24/37, Yards-534, Avg-14.4, TD-9, INT-1
9 touchdown passes? I didn't watch that game, but my guess is that has to be a single-game record. I know Keenum set the career TD record on his 5th TD of the night, and at that point it was 52-20 halfway through the 3rd quarter. Most times the coach would pull the starter at that point and the QB wouldn't have the opportunity to throw that many. But no mention in the article I read of whether it was a single-game record, most of the attention was on him setting the career record.
