We all know how big that win was for all of Ravens fans. We are now tied for the best record in the conference. But you know what, we are tied with a team in our division and who we haven't played a game with yet. A team who has given us fits the last few years. Put Pittsburgh behind us, forget about them. Focus now long term on the Bengals and short term on a Sea team that usually is pretty tough at home. No more let downs like Jacksonville. Finish this reg season off.

We could win out this season with what's left in front of us. I know that's getting ahead of myself, but it's feasible. We have to take things week by week and not allow any let downs. If we play our game the rest of the year, we can be sitting pretty with a #1 seed, no doubt.

Maybe I'm just high on this win, but I feel like the Ravens are on a mission now. After no one gave them a chance, being down with two minutes left and 92 yards to go in Pittsburgh, they won. I don't think there will be a hangover after the first game. They've tasted enough failure this season that they know they can't get complacent. I think they'll destroy Seattle.

Just gotta take things a game at a time. Only thinking about Seattle is what this team should be doing this week, fans too.

Who's even the starter for Seattle at this point? Whitehurst or Tavaris?

I'll be there for the game next week. Will be sure to get close to the field during pregame to remind them to focus only on the task at hand.

It's Tavaris, though he's not 100% (slightly torn pec). Seattle's offense is awful. But they have some decent WRs who can get deep on you. Their defense is good against the run...not so much against the pass.

Pretty sure it is T. Jackson. West coast trips can be trap games and Seattle's D is no joke.

We really put ourselves in position to go where we want to go. Bottom line though, all that matters is next week at 4:05 in the great northwest.

Continue to grow as a team. Both sides of the ball are picking each other up, this team really seems to be coming together.

BTW, and I'm going to beat this drum a lot....can I get an amen for the return of Ben Grubbs?!?!?

If that man doesn't get the game ball and a huge contract Ozzie is nuts. Wow...I remember when they drafted him he was projected top 15 and IIRC got him at 28 or something like that.

I don't remember seeing this in other games, but both Guards did something to signal to Joe by tapping their back right side so he knew the pickups. Joe does seem to have much better presence in the pocket, he just needs to learn to cover up now.

We beat Pitt earlier this year, in an emotional game and follow it up by going on the road and losing to an inferior team.

Playing at Seattle is tough. They have a great crowd there and we have to travel across country.

You can not overlook this game...This is a trap game.

You just beat Pitt and after this game, you are home for 2 big games, Cinci and SF and then you get a mini bye week.

The Ravens SHOULD be 9-2 after that stretch it starts with Seattle and you can not have a let down.

Whoa ....Slow Down ....Im not sure that you give a guy with Turf Toe a huge contract.

I agree with the general sentiment but there are some differences between Seattle and the Titans. The Titans have a veteran QB and at the time, a playmaker on offense. Also, in game 2 of the season we didn't really know what we were walking into. Plus, we were playing a team in their home opener.

Seattle has poor QB play no matter who plays, they don't have anyone on offense that really scares you. Of course it is tough road trip and generally a tough place to play. Bottom line, start fast, take the crowd out o it and we should be ok.

Here's a question.....do you root for Pitt vs. Cincy this weekened?

Agree. Plus we hold our own fate in our hands with Cinci...all we gotta do is beat them ourselves.

I'll be pulling for the Bengals next week for sure.

My thinking exactly. Seattle is not easy out, especially at home.

Let's try not to undervalue the defense here though. This defense is playing some of it's best ball in a long long time. Last night they played well with little to no pressure throughout the game. They didn't blitz a ton, they stayed discipline in their coverage and other than Ben rolling out and being a great passer out of the pocket this team really did a great job on the Steelers last night. The Ravens really need to start running delayed blitzes against Ben btw...a Spy isn't good enough because he can get out wide like on the Wallace TD. Drop back like a spy, then come in once the sitaution unveils itself. It becomes really clear Ben likes to roll out wide right underneath the RT. That was a poor adjustment that I thought was pretty simply.

The offense is gaining some momentum. Were getting close to being a team that if we can score 24 points a game, I don't think we'll lose.
