Will The Orioles Finish Over .500 Under Duquette?

Simple question, will DD be able to reverse the O's fortunes? Duquette signed a 3 year deal, will the O's be able to finish over .500 in any one season?

Yes. I can envision a season where our young core plays well enough to play .500 ball.

3 years is plenty of time to do it. Will it happen? I don't know. In my opinion, 75% of the answer lies in things not under Duquette's control, i.e., how do the young players already on the roster develop, especially the pitchers.

Yes they will, both he and Buck want to make their marks. Buck is ready for us to win, and win NOW. DD wants to show the baseball world that he is the genius that he was with the Expos and Sox (for the most part).

Good point, I'm hopeful that DD can put them in a position to succeed, whether they actually do succeed is another thing. Machado, Schoop, and Bundy are the big 3 right now, what and where will they be in 3 years? Will any of our young starters put it together? Tough questions, hopefully things will work out in our favor.
