With Georgia up 10-0 and looking good so far, it's scenario time. For the experts on BCS rules, I have this question...
The BCS bylaws state that no conference can have more than 2 representatives in BCS bowl games. So let's say Georgia pulls off the upset and is the official SEC champion. They go to the Sugar Bowl per the pre-arranged tie-in. Let's also assume that LSU remains #1, or only drops to #2 in the BCS rankings, with Alabama moving up to #1. Would both teams be able to play for the championship, since that would mean 3 SEC teams in BCS games? Or does the rule get waived if the #1 and #2 teams are in the same conference, but neither won the conference? (How stupid is that, BTW?)

Wow, I thought Mathieu flipped that ball kind of early when I saw it live (thought there was a block in the back during the return too). Now many plays later they finally get around to showing the replay and the ball clearly never crossed the goal line before he tossed it.. Hmmmm.

Yeah I'm watching with the sound off and not really paying attention, but they've showed it like a million times now. I don't know how that didn't get overturned.

There was definitely a block in the back on that td. The announcers were saying that if the play had gone to the booth they would have called an illegal forward pass. Now, if it's a play from scrimmage, I think the yards are assessed from the line. How would it work on a punt return? From the spot or from where the punt is caught? Anyone know how that'll work?

Not sure. I guess it's better for LSU than calling it a fumble, since it went out of the endzone it would have been Georgia's ball at the 20.
LSU just went up 28-10....doesn't look like it will matter anyway.

With just over 4 minutes left in the game, LSU has scored 42 points. It's worth mentioning that in the entire first half they compiled all of 12 yards of offense with 0 first downs.
