ESPN analyst Craig James will go on hiatus with ESPN while he contemplates running for the U.S. Senate.
James, who resides in Texas and starred at SMU, will not work the college bowls according to ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz.

Oh, man. I was hoping to read that the NCAA was going with a 16-team playoff beginning next season. Oh well. :o

And from his time at ESPN we know he's good at running a smear campaign. Yeah, I'd say he has a chance.....he just won't get any votes out of Lubbock, but that's not a heavily populated part of the state.
