Good young talent but you're essentially living or dying with just one of them.

It's really hard to measure the Skins from last year IMO. You had the Beck debacle, and Rex continued his penchant for turning the ball over. Of that list Orakpo, Kerrigan and Helu are the only threeI think can guarantee you production. Of that list the rest are dependent on some kind of break out next year; be it recovering from injuries (Hankerson, Jenkins), or not smoking up (Williams, Davis), or fitting into the system (Morgan, Garcon).
Solid years from two of those three groups and even average QB play from RG3 and I think an 8-8 season really isn't that outrageous.

The WR corp is unproven. Hankerson, Garcon, and Morgan are all talented but go out there and show some sort of consistency on the field. On paper the SKins have upgraded the WR corp but I'm not convinced it plays out that way on the field.
I agree that Helu, Kerrigan, and Orakpo are all legit.

I'd add Royster and Riley to that list. Two more guys that the duo drafted and played well in their opportunity.

I'd add Armstrong/Austin to that list too...but that's because you all know I'm a fan. I'm just convinced that Austin is going to get cut and then go on to be a pro-bowl slot receiver like Welker (ok not at THAT level, but I think he could produce as well as Moss right now if given the reps)

I feel like Austin is just going to turn into Moss's replacement. Similar games, just needs a chance.

Yeah that's what I was saying last year. I noticed in the preseason their game is almost identical! He's got great hands, runs well after the catch and isn't afraid to take a hit. I wouldn't have been against letting Moss go as a FA and just keeping him, but Moss' deal isn't crippling so I don't really mind. I'd just hate to see Austin go to keep a guy like Gaffney or something.

But let's say 3 of those any 6 guys, play up to potential, with RG3 just being average. If Williams, Davis, Jenkins all play to potential and you buy Helu, I'm not sure you need a ton from your WRs. That could make for a very dangerous team because they can run the ball and the get after the passer.
I think a lot of the season will hinge on Williams and Davis honestly. Davis is their most talented receiver, and Williams will be protecting their QB investment. The question is can they get their heads screwed on right. Guys like Jared Gaither would have me concerned they might not...
