Are there any names out there that you are looking for in the later rounds of the draft? It'd be nice if they could get some contributers and guys that round out the roster with their 4 picks in rounds 3-5.
Two guys that I'm interested in are Audie Cole- ILB NC State and Brandon Taylor- SS LSU.
I'd imagine that they go O-line as well. Of course RT is a need, but interior line is a need also. Cook didn't really cut it when he had an opportunity. I'm concerned about the center position if Montgomery got hurt.

I didn't see most of their picks coming from this past season, so I'm going to go with whoever they think is best, since they seemed to work out.

What, you didn't take 3 Cornhuskers in your pre-draft pool? :)

Yeah, wouldn't have had 1 ;)
They did a good job of finding people who fit their system, that's the variable, I can't know who would fit their specific way of playing well enough to say who i'd want...so let them do their thing.

I'd sure like to see us trade a 5th or 6th for Asante Samuel... alas, this BS cap hit makes it impossible.
PART of ESPN Insider comments:
UPDATE: Two interesting tidbits to tack on to this post. First, Mike Klis adds that the problem with the proposed trade sending Samuel to the Broncos was not what the Eagles would be getting, but rather that Samuel did not approve the re-structured contract (read: pay cut) that would be part of the deal.
In addition, Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that earlier notions that the Eagles wanted a third- or fourth-round pick were incorrect, that they would consider doing the deal for a fifth- or sixth-rounder.
Many teams will (or at least, should) be interested at that price, but as with Denver, it will come down to working out a re-structured deal with Samuel, which may prove to be an insurmountable hurdle.

Of our 6 picks, not including RG3, I'd expect 2 OL, 1 LB, 1 CB, and two of a NT, RB, or WR.
Cooley might be cut with Paul switching to TE. It'll save some money.

I'm cool with 2 OL, 1 LB, and 1 CB, but not the other positions. I like Cofield and Neild at DT...I expect us to resign Hightower at RB (so we should be set)...and we just signed Garcon and Josh Morgan at WR. I'd like to see us plug some other holes, like safety.

Didn't we just sign like 5 safeties?

I'd like to get a Safety eventhough we got Merriweather and Tanard Jackson but knowing Shanny, he loves RB's and could try to strike a Brandon Marshall type pick (Maybe Brandon Quick or Tommy Streeter?) in the Mid-Rounds since it is a deep draft for WR.

Are any of them any good though? It's still a position of need, IMO.

Sorta. We signed a bunch of prospective safeties. I guess I'm just not sold that we are solid at that position. Seems like we are grasping at straws.

I can get on board with that. Cheers to Thursday being the beginning of a new burgundy and gold era.

Just figured between Gomes, Doughty, Merriweather, Griffin, Jackson and Williams we should be good back there. Think Griffin stays at CB now.

You're probably right.

And Nick Collins hit the market today too. I'd think this is the year to improve O-line depth, find some backups at OLB and some competition at other spots. Rackers was signed to compete with Gano...not sure how I feel there, because I'm afraid Gano will go somewhere and be a pro-bowl kicker for the next 10 years when he leaves.
