Navarro is now free to sign with the Wiz and most certainly will. He's a huge addition. Basically, we've added 3 sure first rounders this year (Pecherov, Young, and Navarro) and we have a youngster on our team that would have been in the lottery (Blatche). Grunfeld just a week ago said he thought there was no way in the world this happened. Great news!

He's on the Spanish national team. I remember the Wiz drafted him, like, 4 years ago or something. He's a super fast PG.

Huge news for the Wizards, they could seriously contend for the East title right now.

Thanks. No wonder I forgot about him.
Good news.

This is definently good news since the Magic are about to sign Rashard Lewis and the division is going to get even tougher.

It will be interesting who they decide to sign Stevenson or Navarro because they cant afford both.

I agree. I think Navarro is younger and more valuable than both of them.

Where are the big men....this team will still struggle without another big guy that won't try and knock out his competition.
I would still like to see some moves to shore up the F/C positions

Looks like Haywood and Thomas will "fight it out" for time.

Contending for the East title... that's like contending for the AAA title in my book. :p

Very true, but a trip to the finals would be great even if they got swept.

I guess it wasn't as easy as it seemed. Lot of rumors going around now about what's actually going down. Some whispers of a sign-and-trade for James Posey, but I'm sure the Wiz would need more than that and have some financial motivations in the deal as well. Apparently the Grizz may be trying to flat out buy Navarro but hopefully we stay strong and tell them to back off. Either way, I'm just glad he's finally free and I trust EG will figure the best option out.

This makes me very happy, but damnit we ne need a big man in the low post. We could cut it with Haywood if we had a legitimate power Foward, but Jamison doesn't really belong there.
If we could just go back to glory days of Laetner and Jihadi White....

As stated before, rumors are circulating everywhere that Navarro might get traded. The Posey trade is a joke in my opinion. The Wiz need a more dominate big man down there rebounding, and providing an inside scoring threat.
Posey is a shooter and provides nothing to this team. I don't mind Posey if its a deal to open up some cap space for a big out there in FA. The front court as situated right now though will still have serious problems getting out of the first round.
A big would also reduce some of the wear and tear on the backcourt scorers, so maybe they would have a chance at the end of the year.
