View Full Version : Need Info on Rangers Stadium -- "The Ballpark"

Looks like I'm going to be able to catch the Orioles play tomorrow night at "The Ballpark" in Texas. I will be wearing my Chris Ray jersey and hoping he gets in the game and throws like he did against the White Sox on Monday.

I was there once before when I was stationed in West Texas, but don't really remember much about it other than I thought it was a nice field.

Has anyone else been there? If so, are there any "must see" things, cool bars, a no-scalp zone, etc.?

It's been about about 10 years since I've been there. One thing I DO remember is that it's HOT. It's like a box with no top ... zero air flow. Dress light.

I know that the only thing in the close area is an amusement park.

It's not as hot as I expected it to be here, but it is rainy. I should have brought my water wings. Hopefully the game doesn't get rained out.
