Indy nabbed Norfolk, Bowie split a doubleheader with Akron, Frederick beat Winston-Salem, Delmarva hammered Hagerstown, Bluefield got blanked by Elizabethton, and the GCL O's hung eight runs on their Red Sox counterparts. Aberdeen's doubleheader with Hudson Valley was rained out.

Frederick's Brad Bergesen threw a complete game six-hitter in which he allowed two runs, but the Delmarva Shorebirds brought their collective whoopin' stick tonight. 3B Billy Rowell went 4-for-6 with a homerun and three RBI. 1B Brandon Snyder went 4-for-6 with a homerun, four RBI, and four runs scored. Snyder edges Rowell for tonight's Orioles Hangout Player of the Night honors.

Scott what are the all-time records for Hangout Player of the Night and who is the most prolific? I wonder if those records are kept.

Hehehe...I've been dreading that question.

For 2007...

Brad Bergesen, Miguel Abreu, and Mike Cervenak have all earned Orioles Hangout Player of the Day/Night honors four times each. Chorye Spoone, Brandon Erbe, Chris Vinyard, and Luis Jimenez have alled earned the honor three times apiece.

Glad to see Rowell and Snyder ripping the ball.

Snyder hit a grand slam today. I believe it was the first one he has ever hit, in his entire career (including highschool).
