PM me a hint - I went thru all of the hints and they di - int tell me anything I di - int know. Are we guessing words that go with a farm and how do you get them into the vertices, as it were?

I don't get what we're trying to do, what the ultimate goal of this game is, or how to enter answers. This will require some help ;)

Well I had 5 or 6 friends working on it with me, so eventually we got it. I don't have the patience to try and get every answer, so you can always google the puzzle, and they have message boards that will give you most answers ;)

The ultimate goal is to fill out all the blocks. The first block is "on the farm". To the left you will see where to type in your answer. Once you type it in, it will open up something that goes with that word and so on. There are 25 blocks and each block has a main subject. It can take quite a while, if you are doing it by yourself.
I've been at this for an hour, pretty addicting. I can see 3 blocks on the map, but I still have a few things on the farm page left. Tricky...
I've now got 5 blocks showing. The left side of the farm section is giving me fits...

Which ones were giving you problems?

I got through it. This puzzle can be so frustrating. Fun though.

I restarted the puzzle since I originally started at work, and it amazed me that I remember alot of the answers, since I haven't done this puzzle in months.
If anyone needs any clues or hints just let me know. ;)

Man this is addicting. I'm getting all my friends into it but it's impossible. I don't know how you're supposed to do Poker Stars without watching ESPN2 religiously... fortunately I have seen WSOPs, but I'm still missing a bunch.
This is hard.

I worked on this puzzle for a long time yesterday morning. I got 13 blocks opened, then hit a wall where I couldn't get any guesses right. Then I realized, "I'm a busy man. I can't keep doing this, I'll never leave the house." So I looked up the answers, and boy, what a crappy puzzle. This is going to sound an awful lot like sour grapes, and I don't want to offend the original poster, because it is a very absorbing puzzle and I'm grateful that he linked to it so I could give it a try. But I'm a crossword puzzle constructor on the side. In that line of work, you have to recognize the difference between making the solver slap their forehead and say "of COURSE, I'm so STUPID for missing that," and making them say "WTF??!!" My feeling were more the latter when I saw the answers. I'm not going to say why exactly because of spoilers, but for those of you who are struggling with it and getting frustrated, my personal opinion is that the puzzle is badly designed, and it's not you.

No offense taken! I have never been big on crossword puzzles, but I had fun trying to figure this one out. You are right in saying that alot of the answers leaving you scratching your head, but all in all it was entertaining for me nonetheless.

I was fixed on this a month ago, opened up all but 2 blocks and did a majority of it with help from bored co-workers. Then I had to look up the answers, and seeing them I probably would have never guessed the rest of it. I think it was the "Barney" part in the baseball block that made me throw my hands up in disgust.
