Anyone in favor of seeing Kraig Binick promoted let's use this as a petition, also anyone that is able to let the front office or David Stockstill see this please sign on and leave a response. I want to see this guy play and Bluefield is six hours away. He is putting up numbers that deserve a promotion to the level he belongs.

Is it not enough that you people have the Orioles themselves and three of their minor league teams nearby? Can't I have just one player to watch occasionally after work?

While he is playing well, the player that REALLY needs to get moved up a level (not sure if they can or not) is Kolodoy (sp) in the GCL. Send him to bluefield, the kid has been incredible there.

I'm not his father. But I am a fan of his. I have seen him play against Towson and UMBC. He just should be in a higher level.

Yea, I mean, c'mon... is a 1.220 OPS really that good? Wait until he gets that up over 1.500, and then we can talk promotion.

Year Age Team PA AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI BB SO AVG OBP SLG OPS
2007 Bluefield 119 97 31 41 5 3 5 20 15 10 .423 .529 .691 1220

That's really not much better than Julio Franco (http://www.thebaseballcube.com/players/F/Julio-Franco.shtml), back in '99 when he went down to the AA-quality Mexican League and played in Mexico City at 7500 ft. altitude.
