Just noticed this guy on our Dominican Summer League team roster. He is a 17-year old out of Curacao. He is a catcher. He looks like someone we would want to keep an eye on. Here are his stats:
68 ABs - .338/.390/.441 = .831 OPS
Seems like an interesting guy.

He wore # 14 in spring training. I had no idea he was only 17. His name stood out as one of those with a first name for a last name.

Does he have an arm Doc? He has no errors in 26 games.

Sorry, didn't really notice. I'll ask the brass/scouts at the next home game. However, if I couldn't tell he was only 17, he must have looked normal for a catcher trying to make one of our short season teams. They bring in a lot of catchers in ST to handle all of the pithcers, but he looked as good as the other young (but not 17) catchers.

So he finished the season in relatively good fashion.

Is it to early to tell about him. Will he most likely be at GCL or Bluefield next year?
