The Brewers sent 3 minor leaguer pitchers, Wil Inman, Steve Garrison, and Joe Thatcher, to the Padres.

According to Rotoworld, all of those players have upside. Now only if we could do the same with Bradford and Walker.

Inman was the Brewers #3 prospect coming into the season...The other 2 were rated in the 20s.
Still surprised the Pads would trade Linebrink as they are trying to win.
Guess they figure they can replace him and this package was too much to pass up.

Sounds like the Padres will put Thatcher right into their pen. His numbers this year are very good. I guess they think Thatcher can be a decent replacement for Linebrink.
