Is the world flat or round?

I am beginning this thread per the orders of John Domen in the last post on the insanely ridiculous Miguel Tejeda thread.

The world was once flat, but Miguel made a mental error and proclaimed it as round. For some reason, people refused to look at the facts and the world began molding itself to fit everyone's impressions.

It was a miscalculation in Miggy's formula, he thought increasing his flux capacitor's energy output would change the gravitational pull of the Earth to cause him to hit more home runs... instead he is suffering from the opposite... meanwhile... causing that Doug Brocail fastball to come in a little more than it normally would and break Tejada's wrist... TALK ABOUT BACKFIRE!

Miggy wanted the world to be round like a ball(baseball) so that he could play with it and throw it around at his beckoning....but he threw it wide , pulling Millar off the bag and THIS is what has caused global warming!
