I do like some of the Monkees stuff. But they need to stop playing that song song, like forever.

Wow - Blur is probably my favorite band of the 90's.
I like some "Status Quoasis" as well (particularly Def Maybe and the B-Side album Masterplan), but Blur had THE best guitarist of our generation and one of the best songwriters as well...

ah Albarn's alright now I guess. Couldn't immediately think of a least favorite band/song from the 90 so I just countered Oasis :D I never liked how they blatantly pushed back their release of that single of theirs to the same day as Oasis'.
I heard that some of their stuff is pretty good, I never really listened to it. I just didn't like that whole modern life is rubbish deal.

Well, Blur evolved pretty dramatically with each album...you ought to give them a listen. Critically, Parklife is considered their peak, but I love every album they put out up until "Think Tank".
Modern life is Rubbish is probably my favorite of all of their albums though, so maybe you won't like it.
