At least he never played for us. 80 day suspension. Please tell me a team will never ever give him another contract.

The 34-year-old Perez is hitting .172 with one homer and six RBIs in 64 at-bats for the defending AL champions. His biggest contribution was when he started a spectacular double play to end the eighth inning of Justin Verlander's no-hitter.

Niefi Perez is the sort of player that MLB should be encouraging to take PEDs, not busting every other month or so. Shame on you, MLB.

If he had tested positive for steroids that would be the case, however a third positive test for Amphetamines is 80 games. The fourth would result in whatever punishment Sir Bud Selig think honorable.
