He came on in the 72 minute. He was still favoring his ankle just a tad. But he clearly showed how bad the MLS and the Galaxy are. He made something happen everytime he touched it. The Galazy looked horrible until he came on. And Landon Donovan is sucks.

How long until Beckham wants to go back to Europe?? He had some offers from the big Italian clubs. And he is still the best at sending balls into the box and setting up goalscorers.

I was at RFK tonight. Craaaaaazzzyyy, is the only way I can think of to describe it. It was so loud I thought my head would explode. A really intense experience, and I'm normally bored stiff by soccer, so that's really saying something. Just amazing, though getting in and out was really frustrating.

DC United just cannot score. They were running circles around LA, but they could never finish. The game should have been at least 4-0 if any of the shots had been halfway competent.

Still incredible, though. I was glad Beckham got 22 minutes, because when we left for the stadium we weren't sure if he'd play at all, and then it started pouring halfway through (though we were under the overhang, so we were nice and dry). I've never seen so much excitement over one guy.

Some amazing passing once he came in. Agreed that it was remarkable how much of a difference-maker an injured Beckham was. The best part for me was that with him in the game ESPN FINALLY SHOWED THE $#%$#% GAME, instead of taking the camera off live action to show Beckham standing on the sideline.

People have to remember Becks was still a top player in Europe. He skills havent diminished really. He was never really a fast guy or a goal scorer. He is still the best passer in soccer
