Thats the name of the mascot that the Steelers recently unveiled.

I can barely contain my laughter, that is about the stupidest mascot name in the history of the world, and sounds like it was named by a six-year old. Maybe its fitting considering many Steeler's fans haven't gotten past the first grade reading level. Easiest trash-talk fodder in the world.

They could have just named 3 steel beam guys: Pitts, Burgh, and Steeler.

Oh wait...

I heard the lady who named him had reasons behind each part:

Steely: Steelers
Mc: She is irish
Beam: Her late husband liked Jim Beam.

If they wanted something to entertain the fans why on earth didn't they finally just get some cheerleaders like every other NFL team?

Steelers fans? Absolutely do not want to talk about this. And it's FANTASTIC.

I will get ever so much mileage out of this one this season. As if Ben Roethlisberger wasn't an embarassing enough mascot.

Seriously. Oliver Onion (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Pierogi_Race) could take this guy out.

NONE of my co-workers want to discuss this, when it's obviously the darkest cloud hanging over the Steelers' season.

Just for easy access to the ridiculousness...

Cowher should sue for slander or liable or something - maybe character assassination?

I'm pretty sure Beam has to do with steel beams manufactured in Pittsburgh. It's kinda what their known for. Other than the Pirates, of course ...
