Still looking good, but where are all the people who were screaming for promotions for Binick, Bascom, and Kolodny. Don't get me wrong. I think the two hitters deserved promotions, but all three have cooled down considerably.

Good point, RZ.

Overall, the past three to six weeks have been pretty good for our system especially compared to the start.

Snyder had a great July, Rowell is playing much better, Liz is on fire, Berken is pitching significantly better of late, Riemold might have played himself into a BA Top 25 prospect if he was doing this all year. Spoonye, BobM, Hoey all have performed.

The most disappointing folks, IMO, have been Erbe and Beato. LT, I'm not worried about either, but they both started this year with very high expectations and, while Erbe has shown flashes, have performed well below those expectations.

I am not worried about Erbe yet but i am worried about Beato's long term prognosis.

I think he would be the first top prospect i would look to deal in the offseason.

Binick's performance continues to plummet--barely over the Mendoza line for the month of August.

Obviously, promoting him would have been premature.

Yeah, In my preseason top 10, I had Beato at #4, he's not even in my top 10 anymore, however he still has a chance to turn it around.

Erbe will be fine. He is still so young for that league. He is working on his mechanics and learning how to pitch to more advanced hitters so that has to be affecting him. At least his stuff is still there so hopefully we can say his struggles are not injury related.
