Carter may be the player the Bosox get from the Nats per Rotoworld. Nats wil trade for him first.

I heard that rumor, too. Can you do that? Has a PTBNL ever been someone the team doesn't even have yet?
Seems awfully presumptuous, no? What if ARI decides to be *****s about it and refuse to trade Carter?:D

I don't know about Jim Bowden, but I think I'd rather have Chris Carter than Wily Mo. But nothing could have made me happier than seeing Carter in an Orioles uniform.

Same, I don't know how Boston pulls this kind of stuff off! Looking from his stats (http://www.thebaseballcube.com/players/C/Chris-Carter.shtml), he's patient, hits often and has pop. Looks to be another Epstein heist to me.

I would say that it would be considered a separate traded.

I guess it's not hard to pull that kind of stuff off when you are a competent GM fleecing an incompetent GM. How much money did Jim Bowden give Christian Guzman?

And yet some people STILL think the Nationals will be better then the Orioles sooner rather then later.
Fortunately most are contained within the Capitol Beltway where they can do no damage to society at large, but still.

I meant the Nats fans. I doubt most in Congress would even go to the games unless they got their free tickets with the $49 face value to stay under the $50 gift rule they have.
