Wow, Tex is going nuts down there: 5 for 7, 4 HR, 10 RBI the last 2 nights. Overall since being traded: .294/.388/.765, 9 HR, 25 RBI in 18 games.

I saw he hit two more homers last night and thought "damn, why are they showing Braves highlights from yesterdays game?"
He's really tearing it up. rejuvenation, indeed.

Even if he never plays for the O's, I see no reason why I can't root for the local boy if he's not in the AL.
Go Teixera, make my Dad sweat about the Mets' lead a bit.

If he keeps playing like this into next season, he is going to price himself out of becoming a Baltimore Oriole. I hope burds and the rest of you are all happy now! As for Salty, last I checked he wasn't do jack for Texas!

9 homers and 25 RBI's in 18 games for the Braves.
Yet they haven't gained any ground in the playoff hunt since the trade.

Well, Salty is still a rookie. You cant expect him to automatically adjust to the majors.

It'll be hard enough to keep playing like this into next week, let alone next year...
