Be glad they have Dan Shulman call WNB nowadays , in the past I think he did Wednesday Night Baseball. I just think he has too much charisma.

Put me down for the mildly annoying. However, I also recognize that he has done a helluva lot for TV sports reporting during his time, so I give him a slight pass in that regard.

I find him to be both annoying AND entertaining. The "WHOOP!" is great when used at the right times. He obviously knows what he is talking about, and when he doesn't let's others (whether it's TJ or someone else) explain it. He knows how to do his job well, and adds a little (lot...) of personality to it. I won't begrudge someone who doesn't like him, though.
Of course, I will never forgive him for spawning the horror that is Stuart Scott. That is his cross to bear :p

He's got a gimmick and it works. I don't like him and I don't think he's that smart a sports guy, but he's not as bad as some of the lame-o's Baltimore has working for teams and on the airwaves these days.

I agree with you. He makes me long for Howard Cosell.
