View Full Version : I need Lost.

The start of this Television season just hasn't been satisfactory to me. I can wait for 24 until January, I'm used to that. But I'm already going into total withdrawal over the lack of Lost. I have been having Lost-themed dreams lately, to the point where a lot of nights I wake up convinced that I have seen Season 4, only to find out that not only is what I remember seeing not really Season 4 of lost, but is also completely and stupidly ridiculous.

A week or so ago, I came home from a night of post-test celebratory imbibing, and while walking down the hallway in my apartment noticed an old cable box that someone had left in the trash room. I quickly fooled my drunken self into believing that the box contained "The secrets of Lost season 4" (according to my girlfriend, who had stayed in instead of going out that night), and proceeded to fall asleep cradling the cable box in my arms.

This lack of Lost is unhealthy. I had to make Mii characters on my Nintendo Wii of some of the Lost characters (my Jack and Sawyer are stellar, I must say) in order to play Wii Golf with them and pretend like it's them playing golf on the island. If I had the means I would follow Jack's lead and fly over the Pacific over and over again, just hoping that the plane would crash and I would find myself on the island.

So... is anyone else looking forward to Lost coming back?

I definitely can't wait for this season. I think the wait is going to be worth it though. No repeats, no breaks, just 17 weeks of non-stop Lost goodness.

******SPOILER ALERT******

I think the new cast-members they've added are great too. It's going to be a riot seeing Cedric Daniels from The Wire on Lost.

I also do hope they do some flash forwards this season to break up the monotony of the flashbacks.

Anyway, I love the image of you drunk, thinking that the answers to Lost season 4 were in a cable box. That's a die-hard fan for you.

I have heard that there will be flash-forwards this season, but in most cases it will not be initially evident which it is. There are some characters who it will be more obvious for if you ask me, like Locke (with his scar), but I think it will be interesting to see how they handle it.

I am glad you enjoyed the image. My girlfriend certainly did not, and I failed to mention that my night of sleep with that cable box was out on the couch.

Small price to pay for being a die-hard Lost fan.

I also think they can't do flash-forwards for too many people because it will take away the suspense of the hairy situations they get in on the island. We know Jack and Kate make it off... so when they get captured by the Others or something, we're gonna know they make it.

Plus we don't know who makes it off the island.

It's gonna be a busy January for me with Lost and 24 coming back. I'm expecting more out of Lost though.

Can't wait for some more Kate and Juliet ;) I still miss Shannon though, but not her uselessness to the plot.

Did you guys here that Daniel Dae Kim got busted for a possible DUI. I think they need to get filming now because these Losties have too much time on their hands on the Island.

Incredibly, he's the fourth Lost cast member to be busted for DUI. The previous three (Michelle Rodriguez, Cynthia Watros, and Adewale A.-A.) all had their characters get killed off the show later.

This could be bad news for Jin.

Well, I finally got caught up with Lost -- watched the last episode of Season 3 tonight

***SPOILER ALERT*****

I'm contemplating a divorce of my wife after she totally ruined the ending for me. We were watching the last episode tonight, and I asked who the person in the casket was. She said, "Probably someone from the island." I asked how that could be, and she said "Because this is a flash forward."

"How do you know that?" I asked.

"I read it online."

AAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I've got no clue what the heck is going on on that show. I'll be tuning in for season 4, though.

I'll be tuning in for season 4, though.

Unfortunately, season four will be truncated to feature only eight episodes because of the damned writers' strike.
