Wow, I can't even imagine a previous year's Division winner being this big of an underdog at home. Unreal.

Unless the Ravens magically play like last years Division winning team then I expect the Patriots to cover.

Yeah, no chance the Ravens put together a game plan like the Eagles did last night. I fully expect Billick-ball to be in effect. I think I'm going to put money on the Pats to cover. We can't rush the passer, can't stop the big play and our offense is still pathetic.

Pats 58
Ravens 13

I agree with both posts above. They made Phil Rivers look like Brady yesterday. I can't imagine what Brady will do to this secondary.

Pats 49
Ravens 10

Hopefully CMac is back for us.

My perfect one has a break out game and the Ravens win

31-30.

It wouldn't shock me if we won or lost by 40.

MikeAD
11-26-2007, 03:57 PM
Yeah I wasn't serious, but we know they aren't going to run. If our secondary plays like they are capable, and we blitz right, we could make this a close game. We shouldn't win, but you know the Eagles are (arguably) worse than us, AND we have nothign to play for, so a win isn't unreasonable.

Won by 40? If we somehow pull out a win, it will be close.

We should lose by at least 13, but I don't know about 20. Wouldn't shock me but I wouldn't bet on it.

Unlike the Ravens winning this game, I will be extremely shocked if the Orioles win 90 games once in my lifetime.

Do me a favor and don't put lines in thread titles. ;)

I try to sit down and guess them all before I look. Of couse it never fails that I turn on ESPN or go online and accidentally see one.

I'm only joking. OK, half joking.

I've seen so many of late, I figured no one would mind. Me and the guys at work do the same thing every Monday, trying to guess what the lines are and circle the lines we think are off...Like the Boys/Jets this past week. Should've been 18 or 19 in my opinion.

As I've stated before, Belachick going to run up the score bigtime on the Ravens. Pats 66 - Ravens 6.

I expect the Patriots to win by at least 30 and it could very likely be a shutout. I also predict that AD will pick Boller early on and take it to the house. Boller won't even get mop up stats this week as the Patriots unlike the Chargers won't call off the dogs at the end.

Personally I think the only way the Ravens win this game is if the defense creates somesort of overload blitz to get Suggs to Brady, and then Suggs gives Brady one of his patented Suggs Suprises.

Either that or Reed/ Scott gets to Brady unblocked...

Notice though that I have not said nor wished injury on anyone...

The Patriots just placed OLB Roosevelt Colvin on the IR and activated WR/CB Troy Brown. This'll sting a bit, and I'd lower that line a little bit as a result.

The only hope we have is if our defense plays the way it did in the games we won last year and is aggressive every play, non stop. If we do that, we can win 28-21. If we don't we lose 56-7.

Where is heavens name would the 28 points come from? You must be dreaming if you think they will even hit double digit points. :(

We just scored 30 two weeks ago.

Two defensive touchdowns, 2 Matt Stover Field Goals, McGahee's good for one and so is Boller.

The hard part will be getting the two defensive TDs, which won't happen.

And I know what you'll say, "we scored 30 against the Browns."

But thats at least a change from us over the last 25 games or so where we always play teams that we should do well against poorly.

I'm not saying we will, just saying its possible.

I'm not 100% sure Wilcox is going to PLAY, but he packed a bag, which is definitely more than he has done all season.

38-6 Pats.

Good call, I can see this score, maybe the Ravens get a garbage TD at the end to go w/those Stover FG's.

This will be another embarassing loss in front of a national audience. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

The weather report shows that it'll be cold and very windy.

Maybe that'll hamper the Pats' passing game a bit. Considering that we have no passing game to speak of, I can only see that as an advantage for the Ravens.

To win, the Ravens need 4 offensive/1 special teams/1 defensive scores.

Probably won't happen though.

31-17 Pats.

Heck they couldn't even do that against the Bengals at home, who do you possibly think they will score like that against the Patriots regardless of the weather? YOu must be joking? We don't have Ben Rothlesberger at QB we have Kyle Boller.

Man, is there a chance that the Ravens can hang with the Pats at all tonight? We've got some people back healthy. Whoopee. Can we rush the passer? Can we get some momentum on offense? I'd like to see the Ravens come out with a no huddle and 5 wide. I know they'd go 3 and out but I would at least like to see them try it.

I actually had a dream that the game was being played in my house and I was looking down at the game from my upstairs bannister as Brady was sacked and I started a chant. Even in my dream I can't get good seats in the living room. Oh yeah, and in my dream the Ravens scored a TD. They didn't win, they just scored a TD to take a 7-0 lead. Even something as simple as that can only happen in my dreams.

I'll be there tonight. I'll be dressed like I am attending a funeral because, well, that's what it'll be.

greatest effort I have ever seen from any Ravens team bar none! They gave a superhuman effort, every last player. Even Kyle Boller played like I would have never thought he was humanly capable. It is just a shame that the lucky breaks and quesitonable (to say the least) calls all when the way of the Cheats!

Yeah, it was a good game and that is all we could have hoped for. But in the end it came down to the make-up of this team, not the individual play, that lost it. This team is like a bunch of inmates running the prison. Billick doesn't seem to be able to get a grip on things.
