I actually worry that we will give Miami there only win of the year. I think we may upset Indy or the steelers but that I can't see more than 1 or 2 wins the rest of the way.
Very very sad :(

Not to sound like the eternal pessimist, but I'm pretty sure we have a 50/50 chance at the Miami game.
Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't win a game the rest of the season.

5-11. We got no shot at winning the next three. However, we got a good chance to beat Miami or Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh only because they might be resting starters in that game if they have the divison wrapped up and can't get a first round bye. I say we win one of the last two games, possibly both.
I must say though at this point I want a top 5 pick in the '08 draft with the elite talent at the top of the draft pool. Losing all the rest of the games would give us a good shot of cracking the top 5. I can't bring myself to actually root for them to lose but it's not going to upset me either.

Who would you like to see us draft in the top 5 ?

There is a lot of talk that there is 5 elite prospects in this draft. Long, Long, McFadden, Dorsey and Brohm. Now obviously things can change, especially at the combine where stocks can soar or dive but at least for now some of "experts" feel these guys are the big guns.
Personally, I want a QB, even though I'm not convinced Brohm is better than Ryan. A top 5 pick will most likely put us in position to draft one of the two. However, even if we decide not to go QB we could still draft one of the other elite prospects or trade out and pick up additional picks from teams desperate for one of these guys.

5-11 for the second worst record in Ravens history, only one game better than the worst, which was their first season in Baltimore. We'll win the Miami game but we might not even win that. We'll easily lose all the other games.

Since you have come around to share my view that Boller is terrible (at least I think you have) you seem to be much smarter in your Ravens posts! (just kidding). :p Anyway, I totally agree with your above post. 5-11 it is and it takes everything they have to beat Miami (the defense wins it to overcome Boller turnovers).;)

Boller is still better than McNair right now, which is what most of us were arguing and what you refused to acknowledge.

Whatever man. Boller is just a drop in the bucket when it comes to this team's problems.

Because that is like arguing which is better, cancer or heart disease! Boller is healthy, young, and still terrible whereas McNair is old, hurt and terrible. Seems like a coin toss to me as to which is the worst of the two. So what is the big deal here? They both suck.:(

Yeahhh,
this season brings back fond memories of those first years. Most of our games felt like that Browns game a few weeks back, except there was no hope of anything good on defense back then (I'm talking 96 and 97). We'd put up almost enough points to keep it interesting, but some stupid, heartbreaking turn of events would give us another "L."
Also, at that point there was no really established fanbase.
Crazy what a difference a year makes.
