John Clayton on espn.com has a new article where he discusses possible landing sites for a possible Donovan McNabb trade and the Ravens are right there near the top of the list.

Clayton seems to think a 2nd and 3rd round pick would do the job. Would you pull the trigger?

I say go for it, bring McNabb in and give this thing one more shot before getting rid of some of the old guys. (Of course we still need a new offense).

However, this shouldn't stop the Ravens from drafting a QB #1. We should draft Ryan, Brohm or Woodson with our first pick so we don't end up in the same situation when McNabb runs out of gas in a few years.

No. McNabb is definately not worth a 2nd round pick, that's ridiculous. Even a 3rd is a stretch but that's what it will probably take.

Okay, I just read the article. A 2nd AND a 3rd?!?! What is Clayton thinking?

The Eagles have no leverage. They are not going to pay McNabb so they are either going to have to release him or trade him.

Citing the Schaub trade is horrible. You are talking about a back-up QB becoming a starter not a declining starting QB who is being paid a ton of money.

The Falcons had just given Vick a new contract. They didn't neeed to get rid of Schaub unless a team was willing to overwhelm them, which the Texans did.

The Eagles drafted their QB of the future last year and McNabb's day became numbered. They should take a 3rd and move on.

Let him go home to Chicago or reunite with Childress in Minnesota.

Not here.
