Sorry for the post in advance -- but I simply find this fake, chemical player too much to take. All that is wrong with the Orioles the past 10 years is summed up in this clown:
1) Front-office actually signed this limted non-player to a contract no one else in baseball would touch (sounds like the Redskins to me)
2) Allowed this cry baby a forum to talk about how "over-worked" the players were now that they had to take infield practice, how unsafe the stadium was since a foul ball flew by his wife (thanks for the concern for other fans -Jay) and getting "roid rage" everytime some reporter asked some legitimate question as to why this little wimp now had popeye arms and a freaky neck. Hey Jay, when you want to prove how tough you are, don't get angry with reporters - get angry with opposing pitchers
3) With his contract this AA reject might actually make the roster -- I will guarantee without a new form of chemical this guy is will pop 10hrs and 50rbi's - thank Heaven he is has so many other tools to help us win!!
Guys, if I see him trotting out in the outfield next year...I am going to implode....

If you have to apologize in advance, you probably shouldn't post it --- and you definitely shouldn't start a new thread when there is already an active one about Gibbons and his suspension.

Feel free to vent in the rants section....but I am sure we all agree with you!

Thank you sir! You are right about the rants section -- I am very laid-back and have been tolerant of this team - and try to stay optimistic. But for whatever reason, his cry baby attitude, lying and lack of skill assessment by the Orioles front office just makes me frustrated

He may spend more time at DH than in the OF, but prepare to implode anyway. There is absolutely no way the Orioles will eat that contract.

Guys, if I see him trotting out in the outfield next year...I am going to implode....If it takes Gibbons in the OF next year to get you to implode I'm all for it. This post is redundant and belongs in the rant section.

Gee, the 8 page thread on him getting a 15 game suspension wasn't good enough for you?

..they can "null and void" given the legal resources in the warehouse? No fan of PA -- but I would support him 100% if they went that direction.

We all know how well that has gone with El Sid.

I keep hearing this and I don't think people realize that it's gone quite well. We haven't paid him a dime and the Players Association doesn't seem too concerned about it. If the Players Association had any kind of case they would banging down the doors of the warehouse to get Super Size Me Sidney paid. Gun to my head I say it gets settled for less than a 1 Million dollars if at all.
