I played for the first time last year and it was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. So this year, I'm starting a little private league ... mostly because the message board on Yahoo isn't active yet, so I can't join someone else's.

At any rate ...

Sure!

There's an A list, a B list, and a C list of golfers. A listers are the best (Tiger, Vijay, Phil, etc.), the B list are the averages (Sergio, etc.), and the C listers are the newbies (Hunter Mahan). For each tournament, you select two A listers, four B listers, and two C listers to have on your team for that tournament. But you only start one A lister, two B listers, and one C lister. The others are on your 'bench'. But you can change your starters each round.

The key, though, is you can not start any one golfer more than ten times over the course of the tour. It'd be easy to start Tiger every tournament he plays. But you are limited to ten starts. Whether you have Tiger play only the third and fourth rounds of a tournament OR the entire tournament, that counts as one start.

A balance is necessary.

It's a lot of fun. Give it a try. I'm by no means an expert and I did pretty well last year.
