Not sure why my thread was locked up today?
With so many people voicing their opinions of how McPhail was handling the offseason so far, I thought it made for an interesting topic and opportunity to evaluate it in it's entirety.
What gives?

Well, locking up threads is a general title. Your question seems to be abolut why they locked the specific thread you started. I saw this post before I read the thread you're talking about. Before I read it, I just assumed that it got locked because you were starting an anti-AM riot. But then I read your post that started that thread. It was very well-reasoned and balanced IMO. So, at that point, I figured it wasn't because of what you said, I figured that it was prolly because people responsed to your post with inflammatory garbage. But then I read the rest of the posts too, and nobody did that either. Now I'm as confused as you are. I didn't see anybody doing anything bad or inflammatory.
So, bottom line: Beats me. I'm as puzzled as you are. This seems way, way different than other thread-lockings. Usually they do it either to stop somebody who's trying to start a riot or else to quell a riot when the idiots pour in. Didn't see any of that in your case. Seems like everybody was being perfectly reasonable. Maybe Scottie will give it a look and change it, who knows?

Thanks - I thought I was going nuts for a minute.
