The Fridge hired him today to be the new OC. He will definately help with recruiting!

this is an awesome hire...should help a lot...he also likes the dual threat QB/pass ing QB tandem...which we will have next year with Portis and Turner. I am friends with CT and spoke with him the other day about Portis taking time from him at QB...and he said they should both be getting time, and Portis is getting some looks into some packages as a WR...FWIW.

So, is Franklin going to be at the bowl game, or is Fridge doing dual duty for that?
Great hire, BTW. Franklin sure seemed to bust his tail on the recruiting trail. I am glad to see him back in the fold.

I think this might help out with some of the offensive complaints we had this year (even though the O began clicking more at the end of the season).
Here's a quote from the press release:
Franklin's offense is coming off a record-breaking campaign as the Wildcats had a 3,000-yard passer, a 1,500-yard receiver and a 1,000-yard rusher in a single season for the first time in school history. They also set school records for pass attempts, completions and passing yards.
He joins the Squad on Dec. 30th.
