Let's just say that if you were given a chance to take any past O's player and put them on a single team, who would field what position? You could even be fancy about it and post the exact year of their career if you'd like.

I'm at work right now so I can't create a list, but I'll submit one once I get home.

Seeing this reminds me just how good Flanagan was at his best.

The single season perspective also changes things for me as I was considering a team that would be together over time. So, Palmiero for one season might beat out Murray, but overall, I'd much rather have Murray as my 1Bman, long-term.

And, how did I forget Hoyt Wilhelm?

Bullpen: Bedard, Mussina, McGregor, Randy Myers 1997, Greg Olson 1990, Dennis Martinez

Hard to agree with the starters in the pen, as none of Bedard, McGregor or Martinez spend appreciable amounts of time there, and Mussina had never once pitched in relief at the major league level until this year.
