Just got my 360 for Christmas :D Woo-hoo:D . I have it in my entertainment center and I was wondering if a Cooling Pack is necessary??

I've heard that the cooling system does more harm then good, so I wouldn't recommend it. They've fixed all the problems in the system, the components inside are smaller, put out less heat and are separated a little bit more. At this point your only problem should be what games to get.

I have NCAA Football 08 and I got Halo 3 last night (Gamestop was too crazy to anything else). I am thinking my next purchase will be Asassians Creed and Oblivion. :D

I have a cooling system and it does fine. The only problem is that i am on my third 360 because of the three red rings of death. I am not sure if the cooling system is the cause of it but i don't put a cooling system on my new. What kind of 360 do you have?

I had my 360 in an entertainment center w/ a cooling system and it still overheat. I have now since placed my 360 on top of my entertainment center and have not had a problem since.

My shelves or open to the back and I have about 12inches between the 360 and the wall
