I like the song, but I officially hate snow now...

I know being from Maine I should be used to the stuff but we are now having our like 10th storm in the past 2 weeks. This is unusual for Maine even. It seems every other day it freaking snows. I've had to rake my roof now three times and it isn't even January yet. When I visited Maryland I always thought it was rather warm and humid for my tastes otherwise I'd consider moving down there, but I tell ya it's times like this that makes me wish I was there now.

Can't wait to shovel my driveway for the umpteenth time. I guess it could be worse though. I'd rather have snow than ice, but I wish it would all just stop already. Is three sunny days above 30 too much to ask?

I'd rather have snow than cold rain. It's been raining here in Maryland what seems like every other day for a month.

Ok it's a deal. I'll trade you the snow for the rain, now we just need to get Mother Nature's approval. I hear she's pretty hands on when it comes to weather though... :)

I will be in Vermont from the 1st to the 6th. I hope it snows there so my ski trip turns out great.

I hate when it snows here. I like when it snows in Vail, Colorado though. :D

If it was 85 degrees and humid all year round, I would be a happy camper.

If I'm going to have the same weather every day, I'll take 70 degrees and dry, please.

That's what I used to think too. Then I lived in Silicon Valley for a couple years. Here was the big surprise for me: the weather was *too* perfect. It was like non-weather. For most of the year, there was no weather. Weather didn't exist. After a while, it got to be too weird. It made me appreciate having some weather. Not hurricanes, of course, but ordinary weather.

It might be weird at first, but I sure would like the consistency.

Well after cleaning out from one storm that dumped 9" we are now have had another one that is dumping another 8-12" on us. I just got done shoveling and clearing my roof from the last storm when it started to snow again this afternoon. It just never seems to end!

Portland is now two feet above normal for accumulated snowfall. That's ridiculous. Augusta has budgeted for 15 snowstorms this year and we are at #10 right now.

And yet here in MD, I cooked Italian Sauasge over my parents on New Year's Day with a short sleeve shirt and my brother was in SHORTS! It was beautiful out! Sucks for you though! ;) Maybe Millar will come up and help you shovel out??? :D

I'm rather tired of Maryland winters. If it's going to be cold, I wish it would go all out and we'd see some snow more than once a year. If it's going to be moderate, I wish the temperature would never dip below 40 but at night. I hate hovering in the mid 30's where it's damn cold but you can't expect to at least get a nice snowstorm out of it.

I -hate- snow lol. It's so pretty to watch, but man when it's done and u have to shovel your flipping car out, then scrape it off, and drive through all that crap UGH. I think I wouldn't hate it so much if I didn't worry about my car so much. Probably cause it's still new....and the thought of the ice scratching the paint job like it did to my old car....and worried about other people hitting me... it's nerve wracking...very nerve wracking.

Take my advice. If it snows, stay home, get drunk, sled in your backyard, and have a good ol' time! I normally have no trouble driving in the snow myself, but its the other clowns out there you have to worry about. No job is worth losing your life (or property) over. Take the snow day, get drunk, and sc....well, you know the rest of the tune!

If we're going to get snow, then give me some darn snow. I don't want these little "dustings" that somehow mess up traffic yet aren't enough to justify staying home from work. I want SNOW or nothing.

I'm going skiing this weekend, so I really hope it snows. Fortunately it has been snowing a bit up at Deep Creek and its been very cold so they should have plenty of man-made snow as well.
