When will the Ravens ask Cowher for an interview?
When will we hear from Cowher?

Any ideas, anyone?

I'm thinking it'll be half-past never.

I don't think he wants to coach this year, for any team, and I really don't think he'd spit in the Rooney's faces by going to the Ravens anyway. I mean, what a disrespect that would be to that family who stuck with him when pretty much the vocal portion of Steeler fans wanted him run out of town. Now he's such a demi-god that the design of their mascot came from Cowher.

Sunday...CBS pregame.

Just a hunch.

Does anyone find it suspicous that there hasn't been any comment from Cowher - no denial of interest in particular? With all of the media out there, you would think someone would have scored an interview, and if he wasn't interested in the Ravens, maybe already documented it. Considering how much he's been mentioned in the media in Baltimore, to be sure he knows the interest is there. It sort of makes me think he is interested but is flying under the radar for now. It just seems like we'd have had a public denial specifically on the Ravens position by now if he wasn't interested. Maybe he is holding out for the CBS pregame show to give his status (as SG noted).

Good observation SG. You hear a lot of that stuff on the Pregames, it's almost like some of the personel feel obliged to make it must see TV.

That was my thought...

I hope he stays at CBS. The Ravens need a young guy who is familiar with todays style of the NFL. Guys like Jason Garret and Rob Chudzinski. They would be the only two I would consider hiring.

Young guys would not be good for this team IMO. With all of the veterans on this team who speak their minds so much; I think a young coach would be gone before he got here. We need someone that our players would respect and would believe in. Rex Ryan fits that description perfectly IMO.
